We got a world globe for Albert, our three year old. He loved spinning it, watching the earth whirl in front of him. At some point, he put his finger down.
"Where's that?" he asked.
"That's Nepal," I said. "That's where the world's tallest mountain is."
It was Sunday morning, and the children were gathered around the minister for the children's sermon before being taken off to Sunday School. Albert sat at attention.
"Have you ever been to the top of a mountain?" asked the minister.
No one replied.
"Have you ever been to the top of a hill?"
Albert's hand shot up and then he blurted, "I climbed Mount Everest!"
Our minister never missed a beat as he looked at the congregation...
"I think the news media missed that story, Albert."
